About the project
The statistics from the ONS showed that at the beginning of lockdown in April 2020, nearly half of all employees in the UK worked from home. With the world of work changing immeasurably, many were eager to get back for good as soon as they could. However, with the second national lockdown forcing millions of Brits back into their home offices, behind kitchen tables, and in their makeshift home working spaces, many are seeing the advantages of working from home, spending less time commuting and more time with their family. It is therefore not surprising that the majority of working people want to see their working practices change for good, take stock of their personal and professional lives, and make work, work for them.
