Hari Patel, FCA

Hari is an accounting specialist who provides clients with accounting advice for complex transactions and helps them navigate accounting changes and uncertainty with practical solutions. 

With over 17 year's experience in Big 4 firm across audit of UK and US private and public companies and specialised in their accounting consulting services ‘centre of excellence’, he has significant cross-sector experience in advising on a wide range of accounting topics and has built a deep specialism in lease accounting. Hari has contributed to major publications including global leasing industry accounting groups, IFRS and New UK GAAP accounting manuals and responses to the 2013 exposure draft of the Leases standard. 

Hari provides specialist accounting advice to multi-national listed businesses and private equity houses on GAAP conversions, implementing new accounting standards, acquisitions and disposals and carve-outs and advises asset finance and leasing businesses in structuring and IFRS 16. He seeks to provide companies with balanced and pragmatic solutions which are grounded in a deep understanding of technical accounting.
