Zulfi Unar, ACCA

Zulfi Unar, Partner, is a financial services specialist with 20 years of experience and brings deep technical and advisory experience in the areas of accounting and finance, regulatory policy development and treasury and financial risk management. 

Zulfi brings significant experience leading large scale accounting conversion projects including new standards implementation specially in the area of IFRS 9. He has led IFRS 9 implementation for numerous banks and other financial institutions in 8 different countries including devising the IFRS 9 implementation approach for a regional central bank in the Middle East which was adopted by all the banks in the country. In addition to IFRS advisory, Zulfi has helped many clients to utilise the full potential from their treasury departments by transforming their treasury and the wider risk management functions. Zulfi’s approach is always to help clients to manage the practicalities of any change by being a true and trusted partner.
